Lexia Legends!

Well done Declan and Isla-Rose!  They have been busy on Lexia and managed to pass a level. 
Isla-Rose has passed 3 levels during our lock down!!!

Look what I noticed today when I gave our bulbs a water!  Some of them have shoots poking through the soil.

A Beautiful Butterfly!

Hi Room One,
Look who has emerged from their chrysalis and was waiting for friend to help them get outside.

I've left the butterfly out in the garden by the playground, so no need to worry about it being stuck inside. 

Make 10

One of our math groups is finding how many different combinations there are to make 10, only using 2 numbers.  We used the numicon equipment to show what we found out.

Counting in 2's

One of our math groups is practising to skip count in 2's.  We used shoes to help us.  On the pieces of paper we wrote the numbers to help us.  Can you skip count in 2's?

Look at these amazing children!  They have been working really hard on learning their sight words.  All the children with certificates have gone up a level, while everyone made gains!

Caterpillar Changes

Yesterday we watched our caterpillar create a chrysalis.  Look at the photos below and you'll see the change too.

Crazy Caterpillar

Look what I spotted before I went home tonight!  Our crazy caterpillar is curling up ready to make a cocoon up on the wood!  I wonder what he'll look like in the morning.
