Wonderful Writing

Room 1 were given the challenge of writing a story about the following picture.  They were asked to think about the following:
-What are the dog and owner’s names?

-Where are they going?

-Why did they tie balloons to the dog?  

-How does the dog move? Does he kick in the air to move or does the lady pull him?  Maybe he blows off!

ANZAC Day

Here are a few ways Room 1 celebrated ANZAC Day.  Mrs Meikle made biscuits, Isla made a fabric wreath, and Aubree and her sister Bella made recycled poppies for outside.
