Welcome to our Room 1 blog! We are a class of Year 0- 2 students at Awahono School - Grey Valley, in Ahaura, near Greymouth on the West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand. Our teachers are Mrs Hahn and Mrs Meikle.
Here are a few ways Room 1 celebrated ANZAC Day. Mrs Meikle made biscuits, Isla made a fabric wreath, and Aubree and her sister Bella made recycled poppies for outside. .
