Counting

Our new students were building towers to match a number.  They noticed the towers were getting
 taller.

Measurement

Room 1 have been measuring using non-standard units.  We lay on the ground and marked how tall we are on the carpet with tape.  Jack and Bethany have measured their height using magnetic letters, rulers, sight words and pens.

Make 10

One of our math groups is finding how many different combinations there are to make 10, only using 2 numbers.  We used the numicon equipment to show what we found out.

Counting in 2's

One of our math groups is practising to skip count in 2's.  We used shoes to help us.  On the pieces of paper we wrote the numbers to help us.  Can you skip count in 2's?
