Bumblebee fun!

To finish off our bumblebee topic this term we made some cupcakes and decorated them with black and yellow icing. They were very yummy!! 

Room 1 Certificates week10

Well done to Hannah for receiving our Student of the Week award this week! Zoe received a certificate for trying really hard in everything that she does, and Fred also received one for his effort in his writing. Keep up the great work Room 1! :D

El Gregoe

Last week El Gregoe came to school and put on a magic show for us, called 'You've Got the Power'. We all had a great time and laughed a lot!

Afternoon Fun!

Today Room 1 got to participate in some fun afternoon activities organised by Room 6.They had heaps of fun working with other children throughout the school! 

Room 1 firefighters

Room 1 watched a short video of a kitten being rescued by a firefighter. Our task was to pretend we were the firefighter that saved the kitten and write a story about it.

I am going into the house and I am saving the kitten. The house is on fire. I am saving the kitten's life with an oxygen mask and water.

I saved the kitten. I was brave. I was not scared. The kitten was lying on the floor. The kitten is safe and I am happy.

I went into the house and I saw a kitten. I brought it outside then I saved it with an oxygen mask.
